Welcome Australian Phonecard Collectors of all Ages!
Do you collect Australian phone cards?
You are not alone!
For years I have wished for a place on the web where I could meet other collectors, keep track of my own collection, and learn more about the hobby. This site is continually improving and I will add more content and features just as soon as I can. It is early days yet, so why not help me along by making a post or two in the Forums, or by becoming an editor.
Telephone card collecting is a relatively new hobby, and it's just as much fun (some would say even more fun) than collecting postage stamps. Australian phone cards come in a number of varieties, including magnetic and chip cards for use in phone boxes, and prepaid calling cards with scratchable PIN numbers. The most collectible cards are issued by Telstra (formerly Telecom Australia), but there are many other issuers out there, so be sure you hunt around and keep any card that you find that is telephony related!
The listings on this site include the rarity of each card and, where known, recent auction prices for A0 (perfect mint), A1 (perfect one-hole/used) and Ax (perfect multi-hole) cards.
Fellow Aussie phonecard collector, you are not alone and you are most welcome!
